My grace is sufficient for you

Dear Friends,

Thank you for stopping by my Word-Filled Wednesday (WFW) and Thankful Thursday (TT) post. I am combining these 2 in order to share the same picture and verse for WFW with my TT friends.

(My brother took this lovely photo at Muriwai Beach, Western Auckland, New Zealand.)

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee:
for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9

♥ Thank God that He has promised in His Word that His grace is sufficient for us! As we face many challenges daily, we can take comfort in the assurance that God will give us grace to go through them. Are you overwhelmed today by your circumstances or challenges or difficulties? May God's precious promise encourage and strengthen your heart as you press on in His strength!

♥ I thank God that He has granted me much grace and strength in these recent weeks of many challenges. As I recover from my relapse of my illness, I am facing much challenges of pacing myself moderately while coping with family, church, work, blogging and other commitments. Thank God that day by day I am learning that His grace is sufficient for me. Though I am weak, He is strong and His strength is made perfect in my weaknesses!

♥ I thank God that He has given me much grace to serve Him through blogging. I am in the midst of praying and making some changes to my blog. Due to the terrible stigma that is still associated with mental illness in my country, I have changed my photo to a new picture of a beach. This is to protect my privacy. As I am seeking ways to earn a living to support my mother and myself, I felt compel to make this change.

I have also created this new blog. If you notice, this is actually a new blog (http://morethanconquerors2008.blogspot.com/) with a copy of all my previous posts. I intend to post all my full posts on this blog from now onwards.

I will post short excerpts of my full posts on my original blog at http://www.lifewithbipolardisorder.blogspot.com/ for the benefit of my readers who are not able to read my full post. I realized that sometimes I post very long and my readers may not have the time to read my full post. So my excerpts will hopefully benefit these readers.

♥ I thank God for my family, church, friends and every one of you my blogging friends and visitors.

♥ I am thankful to God for the prayers and encouragements of so many of you! It is my joy and privilege to meet all of you through blogging! I am greatly blessed and encouraged by many of you. Thank you for your friendships!

May you find rest in God's love, mercies and sufficient grace in whatever you may go through today and every day :)

For more Word-Filled Wednesday participants, do
visit Amy at The 160 Acre Woods. It will be a very blessed and encouraging experience for you.

For more participants of Thankful Thursday, do visit Iris at Sting My Heart.

Thank you for stopping by. Thanks for your encouragements. Hope you have a blessed day!

Nancie,

Truly, a great promise from the Lord. His grace is sufficient! Praise Him!

When I met you several weeks ago, I placed your name in my prayer journal along with some more of my new precious bloggy friends. I have come to treasure your wisdom and your encouragement.

Please remember all of the praises that you have lifted up to your King and know that it has been a sweet aroma to Him. Know how much He loves you. So very much.

May He continue to bless your blogging efforts as you reach out to others and encourage them. May your relapse be met with grace and sweet mercy at every turn of your sweet face.

Blessings to you today, my dear sister. Abundant blessings.

Blessings Nancie, YES His Grace is sufficient!!! And I'm so thankful
for His Grace & WOW a new blog!!!

Beautiful photo from your brother & a great verse! I've had this verse on my mind since the weekend but don't worry I did not choose it! I think it's because of the song...His Grace is enough!!!(which means you can add that song and have this for TSMSS also- it's by my singer from today's post and the title is Your Grace is enough)!

I will comment later for TT! But I love your THANKFUL heart!

Great post, Nancie! Yes, His grace is sufficient. And so precious, too. Great idea about changing blogs - I will be praying it will be a positive change. I really wish the stigma would go away - people just aren't educated on it, are they?

Thank you so much for your sweet comment on my WFW post. Kristyn is fine now. It took about 3 months but she recovered. Nolan just turned a year old August 28.

Sweet sister Nancie,

I LOVE, LOVE this beautiful picture of God's creation! Thank you for sharing it with us!

And I rejoice with you in my weakness, as God's grace surely is sufficient for us, as I was reminded of this just this a.m. Christ exhorted His disciples in the garden of Gethsemane saying that although our bodies are weak, our spirit is willing.

And truly our spirits are willing to rejoice in God our Savior, as we are grateful to be reminded that in our weakness is when we are strong in Christ! Psalm 73:25-26

I'll be praying for God to provide you with a new job!

Bless you sister,
Sunny

Wonderful post Nancie, His grace really IS sufficient! It's even MORE than sufficient. Thanks for explaining why your pretty face wasn't on the page anymore. I understand, and I remember what you look like now so we can just deal with it! Thanks for being you, and for sharing so openly.

I am so grateful to have found your blog through WFW. I have recently rededicated my life to Christ and I am learning more all the time. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar, currently experimenting with meds and doses, and I just have to keep telling myself that God won't give us more than we can handle! I am adding you to my reader!

I certainly understand your struggles. As you know, my family struggles with mental illness as well. It doesn't matter what country you are in, bipolar especially has a very big stigma. Even in America people can treat you as if you have something contagious. I commend you dear sister for wanting to minister to others and also taking care of yourself and your mother. God bless you dear. Hold on to His promises, they are true and they are sufficient.
Love you dear friend.

I missed you last week. When I didn't see your name, I wondered if something was wrong. I am sorry you had a relapse but hope you are much better now. Thank you for what you said today. It was something I needed to see and read due to what we are going through this week. When it rains, it pours then the sun always comes back out.
I am sorry you felt compelled to remove your beautiful smiling face but I understand and the photos of the beach are lovely. I tend to write L-O-N-G posts too so don't feel bad. Keep the faith.

I too am so very thankful for the grace of God! If it were not for God's grace, I have no idea where I would be... but by His amazing grace I am a wife and mother, and a woman who is in desperate pursuit of Him...

I love the photo also, it is a gorgeous place, full of the glory of God.

Thanks so much for sharing and for visiting my blog!

Blessings!

Blessings Nancie...Your thankfulness is always so authentic and straight from the heart to the heart of God! You give thanks in all and we can be confident that His Grace is enough...
He is aMazing! His grace is aMazing!
Your rising above the challenges & moving forward at a good pace is amazing! Your thankfulness in all things is aMazing! Thank God that His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses and the power of Christ rests upon us! I find much strength in this verse and power to be MORE THAN A CONQUEROR like you! Still loving the photo with this verse!

Enjoying your new blog! Happy TT!
I did not realize until I came back that my focus towards Grace was because you had inspired me and planted that seed. I was not going to post a TT but when I found out and then sent an email that it was Iris' birthday, I knew I had to and not miss out. I think I'm drying up & maybe getting better. Now I need to rehydrate more! Please keep praying as I will for you! Hope you are doing well!

Hi Nancie,

2 Corinthians1:3&4 says "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

This is exactly what you have been doing here. You are doing such a beautiful job of comforting others with the word of God as He has comforted you in your times of distress.

I pray God continue to use you and the beautiful spirit you display here. May He enlarge your borders as you seek to share His peace with others.

Thank you for your encouraging words and prayers for my son Chad. He is now recovering after the surgery, taking short walks and sitting up. Praise be to God for a full recovery.

Blessings,
Vickie
